Two more..
Thursday, 20 December 2007

I have completed two more tutorials: Reflective Plastic for Adobe Photoshop and Importing Photoshop Paths for Cinema 4D. I have some resource packs that I will be putting the finishing touches on over the next few days if I can manage to find the time. And if I cannot: Happy Holidays everyone!

Updates, updates, updates!
Friday, 07 December 2007

I have uploaded several new items in the past few weeks - and there's a lot more just around the corner. The Resources and Tutorials sections have seen the largest influx of new content. I have uploaded 3 new Adobe Photoshop Tutorials, 2 new Cinema 4D models for download and a new Grunge Texture Pack. For those of you that have been asking me for some Cinema 4D tutorials - they're coming. The Cinema 4D interface, while user-friendly, is a lot more complex than that of Adobe Photoshop. I'm doing my best to create tutorials that will benefit both advanced and beginner-level Cinema 4D users. I have three tutorials currently in progress, and I'm hoping to see them all go live by the end of December! Until then, check out the new tutorials and resources and feel free to give me some feedback!

Joomla!
Friday, 02 November 2007

If you have stopped by the page in the last couple of days you would have noticed some major changes occuring. I decided that I needed more control over the content management aspect of my website, so I converted the page over to Joomla CMS. Joomla allows me to not only upload and monitor all of my content through one administration client, but it also streamlines the navigation of my website to only one template. Instead of having to load a new .php file for each 'page' of my site, Joomla will instead fill a static template with the dynamic content I create in the backend of the site. This news blog, my tutorials, all of my downloads, links and even my portfolio; they're all powered by Joomla now! If you're looking to design your own site, or already have one and have been considering using a CMS for your content, Joomla is great choice.

But enough about them! Now that the site has been converted, creating new content will be a snap. I have already uploaded most of my artwork, and I'll be adding more soon. I'll also be posting my old downloads in the Resources section, and adding some tutorials that I have been working on recently. When I get the chance, I'll also be enabling a comment system so that I can get direct feedback from you about my tutorials, resources and work.
